“I feel very honoured to have been nominated for this award by the Friendship Project which I think is a very worthwhile organisation. It helps children who are disadvantaged for various reasons-bereavement, difficult home situations to enjoy themselves & have experiences that would not otherwise be available to them.
It has been a pleasure to have befriended the children I have had over the years. We have had great fun together & have visited places & done things that we wouldn’t otherwise have done.
I have been privileged to see each one of them grow into confident, sociable & well-balanced young people so long may the Project continue to help children in need around this area.”
