We are recruiting for a Part Time Area Coordinator for Rugby & District.

We are a small local registered charity supporting disadvantaged children.

Hours: average 12 hours a week – this is partly a home-based role.

Salary/Honorarium: £13.25 per hour, plus expenses and mileage.

This is an Interesting, worthwhile, and varied role which involves: interviewing potential volunteers, introduction, organising, and monitoring of volunteers, matching the volunteer to a child in need, liaison with Children’s Services and local schools, supporting and assisting with further recruitment, and occasional presentations/events.

Full training will be given, with some work shadowing too.

You need to be able to work as a team player, demonstrate tact, good common sense, whilst always communicating professionally and courteously, with good written and listening skills, hold a driving licence and be a car owner, plus live in the Rugby district area.  Attention to detail is important.  Ability to use Word, and potentially be familiar with promotion/marketing/voluntary sector would be an asset, though latter not essential. At all times you must behave in a confidential and discreet way.

Although hours are flexible you will need to be available on Thursday mornings for team meetings, as required, plus very rarely for events at weekends.
