We are holding an event at a farm in Kenilworth on 23rd of April. We will see the lambs and the wool spinning process that takes place at the farm. There are chickens that will be wandering around and horses in the field near the lambs. We will then go on a nature walk to the spinney across a couple of fields from the farm, fingers crossed the blue bells will be out (I cant guarantee this!), but it will be fun to go on a group ramble!
The children will need to bring wet weather clothes and wellies. If your YF does not have any wellies please let me know what size they need and we will see if we can find some spare ones. We will provide tea, coffee and biscuits for the OFs. The Older friend needs to bring a packed lunch for their YF and themselves.
I think it will be a lovely event for the children to experience some local nature!
Please could you let us know by the 15th April if you can come along. We will then send out the address and directions to the farm, where there is plenty of parking and toilet facilities.
If you haven’t already let us know about the Older Friend Get together in Leamington tomorrow could you please do so. (7.30pm-9pm, at Leamington Tennis Club.
