John died on Wednesday, 3rd December, age 91, after a lengthy illness, and we are all relieved that he is now at peace. John was a long standing supporter, fundraiser, retired trustee, and retired chairman of the Friendship Project, and we of course wish his wife and family our best wishes. Whilst not actively involved in the last few years he was maintained a strong affinity with the Friendship Project since its inception in 1986 and has been interested to receive regular news of what is being achieved over the intervening years.
John was greatly admired or his integrity and other personal qualitie and was one of our most influential Trsutees. His funeral will take place on Wednesday 17th December, at 1.00pm at the crematorium, which will be family only. This is followed by Thanksgiving Service at his local church St Mary Magdalene, Lillington, Leamington Spa.
