Last week Older Fried Gilly Dale received a Rotary Club Community Spirit Award.
The awards are presented to people who are undertaking significant and sustained contributions to making the lives of others better, safer, healthier and more fulfilled, in their own time as volunteers. These unsung community heroes; who do selfless and committed good work in the community without seeking any recognition other than achieving something tangible and worthwhile, are wholeheartedly fulfilling the Rotary motto ‘service before self’.
We would like to congratulate Gilly for the past 6 years of volunteering she has done with 4 friendships, and with the support of her husband Jeremy who is also a brilliant Older Friend.
