WHAT: Dickens Night has become a longstanding festive event in the town of Atherstone, in Warwickshire, which encompasses the switching on of the town’s Christmas lights. This ever popular event takes place on the last Saturday in November every year. Dickens Night has become a firm favourite not only with the townsfolk of Atherstone, but also many people visiting from other areas of the country.
