The Friendship Project was nominated as a worthwhile Charity deserving of funding from the Waitrose Community Matters. The Community Matters Funding comprises of each of the Major Waitrose Stores being allocated £1,000 to be distributed between Three deserving Local Charities on a monthly basis. Following on from a nomination proposal from our very own Pauline Higinbottom C.R.B. Officer (South Warwickshire), Customers of the Alcester Branch voted overwhelmingly in favour of the Friendship Project resulting in the awarding of the sum of £578.00.
