On Sunday 29th June, 14 Younger and Older Friends joined Friendship Project staff for a fun afternoon of games and a ‘picnic in the park’ in Warwick.
It was a lovely sunny day and our volunteers and their Younger Friends proved to be super sportsmen and women! A game of rounders was closely fought – and ended in a draw (13 rounders each) – and was followed by a lively game of football. After the picnic, the children were given tokens to spend on the rides and amusements in the Fun Park.
